Cute egg shapers for bento

In: General

20 Oct 2008

I’d been seeing so many bento blogs that have these cutely shaped eggs and I used to wonder how they got them that way. The answer of course is an egg shaping device that is so simple I don’t know why I never thought about it before!

I could not find any however, until recently, when I picked up these 2 adorable looking egg shapers to shape your hardboiled eggs into a heart shape or a star at your fancy!

Egg shaper for bento

I picked these up at Isetan in Bangkok (If we can get them in Malaysia, please drop me a line and let me know where). I can see my bento lunches looking more pretty already! :)

That’s awesome! Could you show how the eggs look in and out of them?

Thanks!

hello :D .. i used to get these egg shapers/moulds from an internet website http://www.nst.my but I managed to find these in Daiso (in Sgp) and the Daiso outlet is coming to PJ soon. I also managed to get the smaller ones for quail eggs at the 100Yen shops in PJ ss2 and PJ Uptown. Give it a try.

Hi WokkingMum: I can’t seem to find them easily here in Malaysia. I’d read about those for quail eggs – can’t eat too much though coz of cholestorol!
