My journey into bento lunch boxes
In: General
21 Oct 2008This is not a very pretty picture of my latest bento lunch, but it was done in a hurry and I did not have any greens on hand.

What I found in my freezer was some frozen tempura fish fillets so I pan fried one then cut it into two so it would cook faster. While doing that I boiled up some macaroni pasta and mixed through some anchovy (ikan bilis) sambal. Then, I boiled an egg and made it into a star shape in my new egg shaper. It was so cute!
A touch of green would have been nice but I had none on hand. So, I brought along a kiwi fruit. I could have cut it up so my bento looks better, but I opted not to so as not to lose vitamins. Not pretty but yummy all the same!

Amazing, I wish I had the time to do this. Lunch around where I work is quite expensive too!

If you can sacrifice about 20 minutes of sleep every morning, you can too!
