My journey into bento lunch boxes
In: General
31 Oct 2008I’m still coughing but I managed to set up a lunch box yesterday that made me quite proud. I might slowly be getting the hang of preparing a decent looking bento box lunch

I prepared some steamed pork ribs the night before and heated it up in the morning. I served it with hot white rice and some steamed bok choy. I added a hard boiled egg shaped into a star with my new egg-shaper mould and I’ll be posting up some more pictures soon on how to prepare a shaped egg.
My pork ribs were steamed with fermented black beans but you can prepare steamed pork ribs with salted fish or herbs if you like. I could hardly wait for lunch!

Home prepared? That certainly looks GOOD! The egg-shaper certainly makes the egg cute!
