Steamed Pork Ribs with Rice Bento

In: General

I’m still coughing but I managed to set up a lunch box yesterday that made me quite proud. I might slowly be getting the hang of preparing a decent looking bento box lunch :)

Steamed Pork Ribs with Rice Bento

I prepared some steamed pork ribs the night before and heated it up in the morning. I served it with hot white rice and some steamed bok choy. I added a hard boiled egg shaped into a star with my new egg-shaper mould and I’ll be posting up some more pictures soon on how to prepare a shaped egg.

My pork ribs were steamed with fermented black beans but you can prepare steamed pork ribs with salted fish or herbs if you like. I could hardly wait for lunch! :)

About this blog

This is my journey into making bento lunch boxes. I don't do cute but I do try to make them as attractive as I can - both to look at and to eat. Perhaps we might learn from each other. Feel free to drop me a line or to showcase your bento. I am at bentodelights [at] gmail [dot] com. You can read more about this site.
