Pea and ham soup

This isn’t a bento in the box sense of the word, but is a bento in the sense its a packed lunch. I made some pea and ham soup the day before. So, I reserved some, and heated it up in the morning  and brought it to work in a thermos.

I had the pea and ham soup with crusty sliced baguette for lunch. It doesn’t look like much, but the soup was hearty and chunky so it was pretty substantial. The thermos kept my soup lovely and hot the few hours till lunch! I was so thrilled to have a nice hot lunch for a change. Maybe I can use this method more often! :)
